Back in the summer of 2008 my good friend Rotate and I got together very often to do some back2back sets at my place. They always turned out amazing, and since Rotate is the master of techy sounds, these sets mostly contained heavy bassline-driven tunes from the best producers out there. Because of the fact that a lot of new tracks have been released in the past couple of days, I decided to make this episode a two-hour long one again.
I happen to have two of my good friend’s, LaCeeN’s new tracks, which are absolutely amazing (and still unreleased), the new Tucandeo tune they did under their alias Storyline, a beautiful bootleg mashup of Right Back and Face to Face, the new Maor Levi music featuring the lovely vocals of Ashley Tomberlin, the debut track of Bart Claessen’s and Raz Nitzan’s new Who.Is project funnily called We.Are, Gareth Emery’s lovely new production featuring Lucy Saunders, and last but not least the new Armin van Buuren music with Sophie Ellis–Bextor’s voice.

My main goal with this episode is to bring you on a musical journey that starts on a beach and ends in the club. The mix starts off melodic, balearic, with smooth transitions, giving you the calm feeling that you really are on the beach, than it slowly translates into a more uplifting, clubbier sound, touching two of my favorite evergreen tunes and many new productions, including Armin van Buuren’s new single, and a refreshed version of Flesh by Jan Johnston and Tenishia.

In this show I bring you right back where we left off in Nostalgia Episode 03, because this is part two of that mix of mine from 2007.
It starts off with a Hungarian production called Myanmar Was Cloudless, produced by the very talented Dávid Biczók (better known as Soliquid) under his alias Frozen Pleasure, followed by one of my all-time favorite trance productions, Yimanya by the Filterheadz. This episode also showcases my first mashup ever, a catchy summer hit by Jonas Steur with the lovely vocals of Jennifer Rene, Fall to Pieces, and last but not least it ends with another personal favorite, and that’s Way Out West’s Mindcircus remixed by Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden.
